Commitment & Class Requirements
To ensure every TEAM dancer succeeds, we have clear expectations:
Minimum of 3 classes per week (including at least 1 Ballet or Technique class)
Lyrical TEAM students must also enrol in a Ballet class
Mini Mover Jazz TEAM students have a 2-class minimum (alongside their Jazz TEAM)
Regular attendance, punctuality, and correct uniform are essential
Absences should be limited to two per term, with allowances for illness or emergencies
These requirements ensure all dancers are prepared, supported, and able to perform at their best.
Performance Opportunities
HDF TEAM students perform throughout the year, gaining valuable stage experience at:
Eisteddfods and competitions
Community events and festivals
Our Annual Concert, a professional production featuring lighting, sound, and custom costumes

Costumes & Investment
As part of the TEAM Stream, dancers wear carefully selected costumes designed to make each group shine.
Troupe costumes typically cost $80–$150
Classical tutus (when required) cost $300–$400 (with second-hand options sometimes available)
Satin ballet shoes with ribbons are required for Classical Troupe dancers
Costume invoices are issued with Term 1 fees to ensure timely ordering for competitions. Costumes are yours to keep unless specified otherwise.
